Legal
Terms of Service
Platform terms for using Meridian Insurance digital services.
Terms
Use Meridian services responsibly.
These terms explain the user-facing platform rules. Final wording should align with approved legal, compliance and insurance documentation.
Use of the platform
The Meridian platform is provided for business users seeking trade insurance information, applications, policy administration and support. Users must use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate business purposes.
No automatic cover
Submitting an application, creating an account, receiving an indicative price or viewing a product page does not create insurance cover. Cover exists only when a policy is issued and all required conditions are satisfied.
Accuracy of information
Users are responsible for providing complete, accurate and current information. Material errors, omissions or misrepresentations may affect underwriting decisions, policy validity or claims outcomes.
Account security
Users must protect login details, restrict account access to authorised personnel and notify Meridian promptly if they suspect unauthorised access or misuse.
Documents and notices
Policy documents, schedules, notices and portal records may form part of the insurance administration record. Users should download and review all documents carefully.
Third-party providers
The platform may rely on payment, identity, screening, document, hosting or communication providers. Availability of those services may affect certain workflows.
Restrictions
Users must not attempt to disrupt the platform, bypass security, upload malicious content, scrape data, impersonate others or use the system for unlawful activity.
Availability
Meridian may update, suspend, restrict or maintain the platform for operational, security, legal or compliance reasons. Status information may be published on the API Status page.
Legal review
These terms are a detailed platform-facing draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before production use.
